Master Recycler Class

Quick Links

Republic Services of Corvallis and OSU Campus Recycling sponsor the Master Recycler Class, an eight-week program that covers all aspects of waste reduction.

This non-credit class is free to residents of Linn and Benton County who agree to “pay back” what they learned by completing 30 hours of volunteer service within one year of course completion. Volunteer opportunities are as varied as staffing a booth at local events, leading recycling workshops, and volunteering with local reuse agencies. Class space is limited.

2018 Class Schedule

The 2018 class will be held on these dates on the OSU campus:

  • 8 required classes on Tuesday nights, January 9 through February 27 at 6:15 - 9:00 pm
  • 2 required Saturday field trips (January 20, 9 am - 12:30 pm and February 17, 9 am - 1 pm)
  • 1 optional weekday field trip (Thursday, February 1, 8 am - 3 pm)
