OSU’s main campus is comprised of approximately 570-acres within the city of Corvallis and is one of only a handful of university campuses listed on the U.S. Department of the Interior’s National Register of Historic Places. OSU is home to twelve colleges, Pac-12 athletic venues, diverse recreational facilities, and a variety of student residences. campus includes a variety of natural features including creeks, wetlands, grasslands, and mature tree groves, some of which predate the university. The character of Oregon State University campus is heavily influenced by its public open spaces, including its historic quads, tree-lined walkways and streets, outdoor plazas, courtyards, and outdoor recreational facilities.
