How to Create a Carpool at Oregon State University

  • Two or more people are needed to form a carpool.
  • Ask around to find two or more friends or coworkers to ride with you.
  • You can look for potential carpoolers using Get There, a new statewide carpool matching site. Register and join the OSU-Corvallis Network to find other Beavers to share your commute.
  • Log in to your account to start a carpool permit or accept a carpool permit invitation.

Carpool Parking Rates

The cost of a carpool permit is evenly divided between the number of carpool members. Carpool permits can be split between up to six (6) members. The more members in your carpool, the less each member has to pay! Carpool permits are not eligible for Payroll Deduction.

Recruit more riders, pay less!

Carpool permits follow the Zonal Parking system, which has a park down feature. For example, if you have an A1 carpool permit, you can park anywhere in an A1 zone as well as B or C zones.

Carpool permits provide access to carpool-only parking spaces within the zone.

Vanpools

  • Branded vanpool vehicles may purchase a parking permit that allows the van to park in any zone for $50/year.
  • Vanpool members who work at OSU and occasionally need to drive their personal vehicles to campus may purchase Daily parking permits online ($4 for B/C zones and $6 for A zones).
  • A vanpool serves the OSU-Corvallis campus from the Eugene/Springfield area.  Contact us so we can help you find a vanpool that's right for you.
