There will be a $5 fee for this conference for all attendees (except students).  We will make a donation to the Linn-Benton Food Share to benefit the OSU Food Pantry.

Janice Gregg from Linn Co Extension will talk to us about cooking and eating healthy using fresh fruits and vegetables from our gardens and our local farmers markets.

Mandy Hatfield from Douglas Co Extension will talk to us about becoming a food pantry volunteer and show us how a family can cook a healthy and nutritious meal when they are in need of a food box.  We will have a food box provided by the Linn-Benton Food Share of Oregon.  There will be information available about the OSU Student Food Panty as well as other local area Food Pantries for those that are interested or know people in need.

Rachelle Schwab of Faculty Staff Fitness on the OSU Campus will talk to us and show us what we can do to “exercise” at our desk.  She will also talk about what is available for faculty and staff for fitness on the OSU Campus.

Register by email to Charlene.Wilkinson@oregonstate.edu or  Laura.Frye@oregonstate.edu by Friday May 3rd at Noon.
