The DFA Leadership Award acknowledges a division employee who shows commitment to the DFA guiding principles, KPIs and key activities, displays a high degree of integrity in supporting the organization, and offers support, motivation and guidance to colleagues. A successful nomination packet for the DFA Leadership Award should include examples of how the nominee meets the majority of the following criteria. Nominations must be to acknowledge work completed between December 2022 and December 2023.

The DFA Leadership Award recipient regularly exhibits characteristics such as:

  • Consistent commitment to supporting and/or mentoring colleagues.
  • Consistent modeling of OSU's shared values and exhibits a high standard of personal ethics and integrity.
  • Engagement in collaborative problem-solving activities.
  • Demonstration of a positive attitude and a focus on satisfactory outcomes.
  • Actively exemplifies stewardship of university resources for long-term success.
  • The work of the individual must advance one or more of the current DFA strategic priorities.

This is an individual award that totals $300.
