DFA Award Nominations Are Now Open! Submit a Nomination by December 5, 2023
The DFA Operational Excellence Award acknowledges a group of DFA employees (not an entire unit/department) that incorporates DFA guiding principles in their work and considers the impact a project outcome or any process change has on affected units and the broader OSU community. A successful nomination packet for the DFA Operational Excellence Award should include examples of how the nominees meet the majority of the following criteria. Nominations must be to acknowledge work completed between December 2022 and December 2023.
The DFA Operational Excellence Award recipients regularly exhibits characteristics such as:

Engaging in clear and transparent communication about the project with subject experts, stakeholders, and customers.

Utilizing structured and inclusive decision-making methods based on project metrics or other return on investment measures.

Balancing process consistency with the flexibility necessary to support the goals of the university community.

Actively participating in collaborative problem solving and working together to overcome obstacles.

The work of the individuals must advance one or more of the current DFA strategic priorities.
This is a group award for at least two DFA employees. Maximum cash award of $200 per recipient with a maximum total award for the team of $1,000.
