DFA Award Nominations Deadline Extended! Submit a Nomination by 5PM on December 6, 2023

The DFA Outstanding Student Employee demonstrates dependability and a commitment to excellence in achieving unit goals, while seeking to apply DFA guiding principles in daily work. A successful nomination packet for the DFA Outstanding Student Employee Award should include examples of how the nominee meets the majority of the following criteria. Nominations must be to acknowledge work completed between December 2022 and December 2023.

The DFA Outstanding Student Employee Award recipient regularly exhibits characteristics such as:

  • Works both collaboratively and independently, as appropriate.
  • Is consistently positive and maintains a helpful attitude.
  • Seeks ways to improve work processes, balancing consistency with flexibility when needed.
  • Focuses on detail; performs work accurately, with little or no errors.
  • Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
Award: Individual Award of $300
