Departments submit a Job Form for all GRA/GTA students to the Human Resources Office. It may take a few weeks before students see their tuition remissions reflected on their student accounts. Students who receive a billing statement that includes tuition should be sure to pay their balance excluding the tuition charges in order to avoid interest charges. GRA/GTA tuition waivers are for tuition only, students are still responsible for the payment of other charges such as student fees. Students whose tuition remissions post after interest charges are assessed will have any interest charges resulting from the unpaid tuition reversed.

Students must have a minimum of 12 graded credits hours to receive a tuition remission for the term, during the summer term the minimum is 9 graded credit hours. Effective with the Summer of 2017, the minimum requirement for graduate assistant fee remission will be 3 graded credit hours.
