• A new automated excluded entity software that dynamically screens for exclusions has been implemented into our supplier onboarding process
  • This eliminates the need for manual checks by PCMM staff
  • The OSU Standards for Procurement have been rewritten.  Many of the processes have been streamlined, most notable the informal procurement method threshold has been raised from $150,000 to $250,000 and that process has been simplified.
  • Because there have been so many changes the procurement staff has developed and presented new procurement training for the OSU community.
  • The procurement team is now developing online training so OSU staff can access the training at their convenience.
  • The receiving threshold on all orders within BennyBuy was raised to $5,000.00.  This change is a direct result of benchmarking with our peer universities, obtaining feedback received from university stakeholders and completing a risk assessment.  The benefits to raising the receiving limit are gains in process efficiency and reduced risk of late payments.
  • In response to numerous requests, the eProcurement staff have enabled Fisher Scientific and ThermoFisher punchout catalogs in BennyBuy.    Fisher Scientific is one of two (the other is VWR) major scientific and lab supplies and equipment suppliers utilized by OSU.
