The techniques and overarching key metrics for the committee include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Raising Awareness
  • Increasing Opportunities
  • Decreasing Barriers
  • Exploring Innovative Solutions

Free Resources for Students

Any student who would like to learn more about free assistance with affording sufficient groceries, or who lacks a safe and stable place to live, and believes this may affect their academic success in any way, should contact the Human Services Resource Center (HSRC) for support (hsrc@oregonstate.edu, 541-737-3747). The HSRC has a food pantry, assistance signing up for SNAP, textbook lending program and many other resources to help students succeed.

Do you have any ideas on how we can combat student food insecurity or would you like more information on how you can get involved? Please don't hesitate to contact us, we'd love to hear from you!
