Capital Projects Forum: Sustainability Efforts at OSU. Join experts with the Division of Finance and Administration in a conversation about the university's efforts to reduce OSU's carbon footprint. This webinar will provide an overview of sustainability upgrades made to buildings during renovations and on new building projects at the Corvallis and Bend campuses; an update on OSU’s Path to Carbon Neutrality; information about OSU’s sustainable transportation strategy; and a brief overview of the capital projects funding model. The webinar will feature updates from Brandon Trelstad, the university’s sustainability officer; Meredith Williams, director of Transportation Services; Steve Pitman, director of Facilities and Operations at OSU-Cascades; Bruce Daley, associate vice president for University Facilities, Infrastructure and Operations; and other OSU colleagues

DFA All Staff Forum: Understanding OSU's Research Enterprise

Mike Green, vice president for finance and administration, Irem Tumer vice president for research, and other members of the Research Office shared an overview of OSU’s Research Enterprise and how the work of the Division of Finance and Administration supports the Research Office. Participants learned what it means when we talk about the research enterprise at OSU, what are the Research Office’s major goals and desired outcomes over the next year or two, and what ways DFA units and staff members can best support the Research Office’s efforts.

Winter 2022 Capital Projects Update

Mike Green, vice president for Finance and Administration, Ian Kellems, executive director of Counseling and Psychological Services, Larry Rodgers, dean of the College of Liberal Arts; Lisbeth Goddik, department head, Food Science and Technology; and other OSU colleagues shared updates on several major university capital projects.This webinar provided an overview of the importance of historical preservation of capital resources on campus, including capital improvements and renewal of building systems. It provided updates on the renovation of the second and third floor of Gilkey Hall; the renovations and renewal currently underway of historic Fairbanks Hall; and the redesign of both the east and west sides of Withycombe Hall.
