Ben Wessel, Executive Director of IT and Operations Integration Officer
Ben is the executive director of IT and operations integration officer. He leads a team of 20+ staff representing technical solutions, business architecture and strategic communications. Ben has worked in higher education for nearly 20 years in various technical and leadership roles, including more than 12 years with OSU. Ben has been a consultant for multiple higher education institutions, advising teams working on process design and system configuration. He holds a B.S. in liberal studies and a MS in operations and project management. Ben also serves in leadership roles on several OSU committees.
Andy Cadotte, Director of Technical Solutions and Architecture for DFA IT
Andy is the director for technical solutions and architecture for DFA IT. In this role, he helps DFA and external groups find elegant and simple solutions to integrate and utilize data and systems within the DFA IT sphere of support. Andy has worked for OSU since 2019 and has experience in project management, data security, and technical solutions. He has a BA in chemistry and a MS in information technology management.

Polly Harrell, Director of DFA IT Business Architecture
Polly is the director of business architecture for DFA IT where she assists the department in developing consistent and transparent processes for project intake and prioritization. Polly and her team refine and develop new and existing processes in coordination with their partners across DFA. She ensures that processes developed within DFA IT are aligned with the broader technology ecosystem and meet best practices for accessibility and user experience. Polly has worked at OSU since 2016 and draws from experience in multiple fields including information technology, project and financial management, operational and impact metrics and strategic planning. She holds a BA in geography and an MPA degree.
Erin Martin, Director of DFA IT Web and Communications
Erin is the director of web and communications for DFA IT, where she helps DFA departments plan and implement operational and functional communications to build trust and awareness among targeted audiences. Working mainly with campus operations functions, such as Public Safety and Facilities Services, Erin assists in increasing transparency through careful, respectful and timely communication. Erin has worked at OSU since 2011 and has experience in higher education communication, content strategy and science writing. She has a BA in communication and an MA in professional writing.
