Type
Options include "Policy" (university policy/standard maintained by the Office of University Compliance), "Procedure" (guidelines for a specific process related to the fiscal policy program), "Rule" (fiscal policy/rule maintained by the Controller's Office) and "Other" (resources related to the fiscal policy program).  Report can be sorted by this field or filtered to show only the specific items for a selected Type.
 
Number (#) & Title
Report can be sorted by either of these fields, but cannot be filtered by these fields.
 
Policy Steward
The content expert for a given fiscal policy/rule.  Report can be sorted by this field or filtered to show only the specific items for a selected Policy Steward.
 
Format
Will be marked as "DONE" once FIS policy has been updated to the new fiscal policy format and numbering structure.  Report can be sorted by this field or filtered to show only those that have been updated to the new format or those that are still in the old FIS format.
 
UP&S
Will be marked as "DONE" once the policy has been reviewed to ensure that the purpose and intent are clear and reasonable, the content is relevant and aligned with the current governance structure (with any reference to OUS removed), and the policy is consistent with the strategic plan of the Division of Finance & Administration and University Policies & Standards.  Report can be sorted by this field or filtered to show only those that have been reviewed and converted to the new Fiscal Policy Manual or those that are still in the old FIS format.
 
Priority Level
Once a request has been received to modify or create a fiscal policy, the Fiscal Policy Committee will determine the priority for processing the request.  Report can be sorted by this field or filtered to show only those that are "Urgent", "High Priority" or "Low Priority".
 
Revision Date & Next Review Date
Report can be sorted by either of these fields, but cannot be filtered by these fields.
 
Status
Status will be updated as appropriate (options listed below).  Report can be sorted by this field or filtered to show only the specific items for a selected Status.
 
  • Current - Active policy not currently under consideration (default status)
  • Request Received - Request received from a Policy Steward or Coordinator for consideration of a new policy or revision to a current policy
  • Pending Additional Information - Request received with incomplete information and cannot be processed until additional information is submitted
  • Draft or Revision in Progress - Draft of new policy or revision or current policy is being processed by Fiscal Policy Officer and/or Committee
  • Review in Progress - Draft of policy is being reviewed and/or updated
  • Pending Approval - Final draft of policy is being processed for approval by Committee and other stakeholders
  • Superseded by New Policy or Rule - Policy has been replaced and this version has been archived
  • Discontinued - Policy is no longer active and this version has been archived
