Emerson-Steed appointed Interim Chief Procurement Officer

Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management has named Hanna Emerson-Steed as interim chief procurement officer. Emerson-Steed brings her experience as PCMM’s construction contract manager to the role, where she served as team lead on multiple notable projects including Completing Reser Stadium, the Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Arts, and the Cordley Hall Renewal project. 

Hanna takes on the role as former director Stephen Nelson moves on to serve as chief procurement officer for the State of Oregon.

 

 

Schofield promoted to Recycling Supervisor

Steve Schofield was promoted to Recycling Supervisor at Materials Management in January, overseeing the department’s operations and strategic objectives. He will focus primarily on creating and implementing efficient waste management programs. Steve joined the Materials Management team 13 years ago and has worked primarily on Surplus Property and equipment maintenance since.  

Beyond his role at OSU, Steve serves as a driver’s ed instructor at Linn-Benton Community College and enjoys gardening, wine tasting, and going on scenic drives.  
 


 

Sheth hired as EPPMO Director of Delivery to advance large university projects

Sandesh Sheth was appointed as delivery director of the Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Office (EPPMO) in February. The university will be well served by Sandesh's impressive skill set, depth of experience and success working to deliver strategy, advance large projects, and to mature our EPPMO. Previously with Oregon State Lottery's Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, Sandesh has over 30 years' experience, managing and delivering portfolios.He has extensive experience standing up and maturing EPPMOs, and a deep knowledge of business and information technology within the university.  Sandesh holds his MBA, as well as a Bachelor of Technology, and has completed a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
