Introduction

Developing the Support Plan is the fifth step in the Annual Plan Development process. The Support Plan details supports that will be provided to ensure the employee can successfully execute the Performance Goals.

After Performance Goals are created, the Gap Analysis is completed to identify support and training needs. Development Goals are then designed.

Next the Support Plan is developed to address the needs identified in the Gap Analysis and to ensure development opportunities can be accessed by the employee. The Support Plan is incorporated into the Annual Plan. It is then tracked through the Check-In Plan. In this brief, a process for developing the Support Plan is shared.
