Merryfield Hall is a 27,329 square foot building constructed in the 1900s and has been used for research and instruction within the College of Engineering. The renovated space (12,000 square feet) will house some of the faculty and graduate students of the School of Nuclear Science and Engineering. The project will provide a renewed general purpose classroom, innovation spaces, office space, the addition of an elevator, and fire safety upgrades. The goal of the renovation is to increase the efficiency of use and safety of the building.
