The Waste Watchers Club

Waste Watchers is a group run by Campus Recycling whose mission is to engage students and the community in waste reduction at OSU by providing educational programming, meaningful opportunities for action, and empowerment of future leaders.

We offer a space to get together with like-minded students, host events, and educate others about waste reduction. We have dedicated meeting time to having fun as a group, making it an awesome place to make friends and learn new skills.

You can become a Waste Watcher too by volunteering with us (see opportunities below)!

  Waste Watchers Fall meetings

  • When: Every-other Wednesday from 6pm-7:30pm (10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17, 12/1)

  Fall Repair Fair

  • What: Repair Fairs help you save money, gain skills, and reduce waste by empowering you to repair your broken items, rather than throwing them away. Sign-up to be a repair volunteer here and sign-up to be a support volunteer here
  • When: Monday, Nov. 8th, 4-6 pm
  • Where: SEC Plaza
