Section 500: Employment Eligibility Requirements
Effective: 02/01/2021

Graduate students who have accepted a graduate assistantship may be eligible for an hourly student employment position if they meet all other hourly student employment requirements and their graduate assistantship is less than 0.49FTE.

The maximum hours a graduate student employee may work is 0.49FTE, across all their active jobs at OSU, including their graduate assistantship and hourly student employment position(s).

Hourly rates for student positions are not based on graduate assistantship rates. Rates are determined by type of job category/work assigned, minimum requirements of the job, and not by the type of student (undergraduate vs graduate).
